Program Officer, Rule of Law and Governance
Yulia Erme is the Rule of Law Program Officer at The U.S. Russia Foundation, where she provides support and guidance, monitors and evaluates various USRF legal programs that address procedural novelties and global issues such as IP illiteracy, lack of access to justice, non-compliance with international standards or due process mandate, corruption, etc.
She is a common and civil law trained lawyer. Prior to joining the Foundation, Yulia provided a variety of consulting and litigation-related services to start-up venture companies and Fortune 500 corporations in the United States. Admitted to the practice of law in Washington, D.C., she holds a law degree from the George Washington University Law School and a forensic accounting certificate from Georgetown University.
When not working she enjoys golf and yoga.
